Golden Jackal

Size: Up to 50cm high
Habitat: Plains and bush
Feeding: Carrion, mammals, fruit

The Golden Jackal, also called the Common Jackal, is a scavenger. The coat is yellow/brown and it has a black-tipped tail.

It has a lifespan of 8 - 10 years.
