Africa is home to a myriad of birds, many of them very bright and colourful. I am not an ornithologist and therefore not an expert, but I am interested in all forms of wildlife. If anyone spots any errors or mis-identifications on this web site, I would very much appreciate you letting me know.
Here is a small selection of some of my favourite bird photos. I am particularly fond of bee-eaters who are very gregarious and are usually seen in large groups.
