Vervet Monkey

Chlorocebus pygerythrus

Size: Up to 50cm long + tail
Habitat: Woodland
Feeding: Omnivore eating fruit, plants, insects, reptiles and eggs

The Vervet Monkey has a black face rimmed with white and a grey/brown coat.

They are social animals and live in large troops, spending a lot of the time on the ground.

They have a lifespan of 10 - 15 years.
