Grey Crowned Crane

The Grey Crowned Crane is the national symbol of Uganda and is featured on their flag.
It is a very striking bird with a grey body and white patches on the wings. It has a beautiful crown of spiky golden feathers, a black crown and red wattles.
These photos were taken in the Amboseli and Masai Mara National Parks, Kenya.
