The Lappet-faced Vulture is a huge bird. It has a bald head with pink skin and a massive beak. The plummage is brown/black with white underparts.

This photo, showing Lappet-faced Vultures fighting over the carcass of a hyena, was taken in the Masai Mara, Kenya. It uses its size to chase off other birds from the carcass.
