The Pygmy Falcon, at 20 cms long, is the smallest raptor, or bird of prey, in Africa.
It has a grey crown and white underparts. The male has a grey back and the female, chestnut. It has black and white spots on some of its wing feathers and tail. The legs and feet are red.
