Red-billed Hornbill

Tockus erythrorhynchus

Size: Up to 42 cms long
Habitat: Savannah
Feeding: Mainly insects but some reptiles and fruit

The Red-billed Hornbill has the distinctove long, curved red beak with some black on the lower mandible. The male has more black on the mandible than the female. The wings are black with white speckles, the tail is black and the underparts are white.
